Jeremy Despite the fact that Jeremy began his cheerleading career over ten years ago, he's still amazed that he ever started cheerleading in the first place and even more shocked that he stuck with it so long. But the fact remains, on September 3, 1998 in Glendale, Arizona; Jeremy joined twenty-two females from his high school and cheered his alma mater onto a thrilling fourth quarter victory… GO CACTUS COBRAS!!! After high school Jeremy enrolled at the University of Arizona where he joined the university's cheer squad cheering on their nationally ranked football, volleyball and men's and women's basketball teams… GO WILDCATS!!! Jeremy was a UofA Cheerleader and Mascot for roughly three years but eventually had to retire due to numerous wrist injuries. Since then Jeremy's coached at his high school, working with their freshman squad, as well as with a senior and junior high cheer squad in Central Iowa. He's judged numerous cheerleading try-outs throughout both Arizona and Iowa and has been an active volunteer at UCA and NCA competitions throughout the country. Jeremy ultimately loves the unbounded capacity that cheerleading has for someone to unleash their energy whether while stunting, tumbling or cheering their team on to score one more time. |
